Danny Masterson Says Scientology Critics Can
Danny Masterson has a message for all those Scientology haters.
In a new interview with Paper magazine, the "That '70s Show" star opens up about his controversial religion on the heels of the premiere of "Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief."
"I heard about that documentary; the documentary where they interviewed eight people who hate Scientology. Should be pretty interesting. I wonder if Sundance would allow a documentary of, like, eight people who hate Judaism. But you know, my religion's fair game, I guess, 'cause it's new," he tells the mag.
"There's basically like 200 lies in the book and so therefore he couldn't even publish that book [in Canada or the UK because the libel laws],” he adds, referring to Lawrence Wright’s book, which inspired the movie.
Masterson also touches on fellow Hollywood star Paul Haggis' decision to leave the church on account of gay marriage. "Paul was just mad that, as a religion, we're not going to come out and say that we are for or against anything

The "Focus" star is getting super candid in the March issue of Esquire magazine, where he reflects on his career, reveals his most painful failure and how his famous kids handle being in the public eye.
The father-of-three has enjoyed a very long and successful career with many box office hits, but that doesn't mean he's immune to a flop or two. Will revealed to the mag that the biggest failure of his career, "After Earth," wasn't even about him, but his son.
"That was the most painful failure in my career," he shared. "Wild Wild West" was less painful than "After Earth" because my son was involved in "After Earth" and I led him into it."
The Philadelphia native's defeat was short lived though. When he learned his father had been diagnosed with cancer, that put everything into perspective for him.
"You can’t win enough, you can’t have enough money, you can’t succeed enough. The only thing that will ever satiate that existential thirst is love," he added.
"And I just remember that day I made the shift from wanting to be a winner to wanting to have the most powerful, deep, and beautiful relationships I could possibly have."

"They're always uncomfortable, it's a very vulnerable position to be in," she said of the scene at a press conference for the film. "It's not something you ever get used to as an actress, I don't think."
That didn't stop her from making the scene as real as possible though.
"This was a very important scene in this film. If that scene didn't work the rest of the film doesn't work," she continued. "That's the moment that they share together and if it wasn't intense, passionate and real enough, then the rest of the movie doesn't make any sense. I'm glad that it's something people are responding too."

Emily Maynard has a baby on the way!
The "Bachelorette" alum is expecting her first child with hubby Tyler Johnson. The blonde beauty confirmed the news via Instagram on Friday.
Emily posted a photo of her growing baby bump, and revealed their their new family addition will be due this July. "too much pizza #july2015 @mtylerjohnson," she captioned the candid snap.
This will be the second child for the 28-year-old. Maynard has a 9-year-old daughter, Ricki, from her relationship with high school sweetheart Ricky Hendrick, who tragically died in a plane crash in 2004.
Emily stole the spotlight on "The Bachelor" with Brad Womack in 2011, and after accepting a proposal from Brad, the couple later called it quits. Emily later starred in her own spinoff of the ABC series.
During the West Virginia native's stint on "The Bachelorette" in 2012, she got engaged again to contestant Jef Holm ... but the pair ended their relationship shortly thereafter.
Just a few short years later, the reality star got engaged to Tyler in January of 2014, and he even gave for Emily and her daughter rings for the special occasion.
"He proposed to me at home and gave both Ricki and me rings," Maynard told Us. "It was so sweet."
The cute couple said "I Do" in front of Emily and Johnson's family and close friends at Tyler's South Carolina farm in June.
