Kendall Jenner Has All the Smarts in the Kardashian/Jenner Family
Kendall Jenner's definitely gotten a big, lucky break in the fast-paced world of high-fashion modeling -- from walking runways for Marc Jacobs and others, and now is the new face of Estee Lauder, she's doing the thing, and apparently she's doing it right.
During a recent interview with ABC, Kendall talks about what modeling means to her, and where her family fits in.
Here's what she said about being a "role model" to children, claiming "I would just always be looking at these supermodels who were just, like, so amazing to me; they were like superheroes. I want to be the best role model I can be to a little girl. Or to a little boy. Or to anybody."
Later, she discussed "banning" her famous family from her runway shows, saying, "Banned is a strong word. ... It was more of a mutual understanding. ... It would have taken the attention away from what I'm trying to do on my own. ... She obviously is who she is, and it would’ve almost taken the attention away from me.”
So yeah -- Kendall's striking out on her own, and she's succeeding. While Kim Kardashian tries to "break the internet," this is what Kendall's doing, and suffice it to say, it's much, much better than ... well, make your own ass-essments.
