It may feel like Avril Lavigne has fallen off the face of the Earth, but the punk rocker has actually been battling health problems for the past couple of months.

The songwriter recently told a group of fans that she hasn't been "feeling well," citing "health issues" as the reason for why she's been MIA.

In a direct message to fan account AvrilMusicChart, the Canadian singer wrote, "I feel bad because I haven't been able to say anything to the fans to let them no (sic) why I've been absent," adding, "please keep me in your prayers.
