Brian Austin Green and wife Megan Fox are lucky to be alive after their horrifying car accident on Dec. 4, the star revealed yesterday.

The couple were driving near Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, when a car coming from the opposite direction collided with them at 50 mph. The driver had been drinking and was later arrested.

"It could have ended horribly," Green, 41, said at the 6th Annual "Night of Generosity” gala."We were talking about it today, on the way to run errands. I was saying, 'We're really lucky'. He was going 50 miles an hour, and we were going 25 down the street, and we hit head-on. The inertia of that is life changing."

Luckily, Brian and his 28-year-old wife were not traveling with either of their children, two-year-old Noah Shannah and nine-month-old Bodhi Ransom. No one involved in the accident was seriously injured, thanks to both cars' airbags.

"The cars did their jobs," the 'Anger Management' star added. "That being said, he came around the corner very fast. Let alone, I've heard, he had a few drinks."
