According to a new report, the Good Charlotte musician, 35, popped the big question and the pair areengaged after a seven-month courtship!

“They’ve been telling close friends in recent weeks about their plans, but it’s very hush-hush,” a source alleges, adding they’re “planning their wedding for early in the new year.”

Though there are no further in-depth details about how Benji got down on one knee, the insider says, “Benji proposed and gave her a ring. It’s been a real whirlwind romance.”

It appears Cam, 42, may have been hinting about the news during a promotional interview for her new flick ‘Annie’ earlier this month.

“I’ve never said never to anything. Believe me, I’ll try anything once or twice or maybe even three times,” she said to E! just one month after she told ‘Marie Claire’s’ November 2014 issue that she wasn’t “looking for a husband or marriage or not not looking for that stuff.”
