Joe Giudice has a last-ditch plan to keep his wife, Teresa, out of jail!

'Life & Style' has exclusively learned that on Nov. 23, Joe visited the Long Island Center for Recovery, a rehab facility in Hampton Bays, N.Y., and according to a witness, “told them he was interested in checking himself in for inpatient care starting Dec. 26.”

Teresa is set to begin her 15-month prison sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud on Jan. 5. And since the judge agreed to schedule their sentences one after the other so one parent can be there for the kids, a source tells 'Life & Style,' “Joe actually believes that starting rehab right before Teresa’s incarceration will convince the judge to allow her to stay home to take care of the kids, so he can deal with his addiction.”

But our experts say Joe is simply out of luck: “I don’t see how in the world that would stop Teresa from going to jail,” federal defense attorney Bryan Konoski tells 'Life & Style.' “The courts don’t care so much about if you have a drug problem. They care about you doing your time.”
