Teresa Giudice is just days away from serving her 15-month sentence for fraud and conspiracy — but she has a more pressing matter at hand.

An insider tells 'Life & Style' that the mother of four is panicked over the prospect of her husband, Joe Giudice, caring for their kids by himself.

“Teresa has become so desperate, she’s now considering giving her kids to friends!” the source reveals.

Being a single dad to four girls would be tough for anyone, but given Joe's suspended driver’s license and admitted drinking problem, even the couple’s former crisis manager, Wendy Feldman, admits Teresa is a “sole caregiver” who’s never gotten much parenting help from her husband.

Adds the insider, “Teresa’s friends know he’s useless and have offered to take the kids. The trouble is, no one can handle four extra girls for that long.”
