Jada Pinkett Smith reveals how she maintains a rock hard bod and keeps her petite frame in top shape for herself and hubby Will Smith!
The 'Gotham' actress explained that at one point she thought she was becoming too muscular and has since switched up her workout routine to include walking up 32 flights of stairs in her apartment and repeating with added weights!
“I love walking stairs because it's great cardio and resistance,” she told Shape magazine for their January/February issue. “My trainer and I are into reps instead of heavy weights because the goal is now about sculpting.”
The 43-year-old actress and mother-of-two stands at just 5 feet and weighs in at 108 pounds, but don’t let her tiny frame fool you – she plays an intimidating Mob boss on Fox’s television show Gotham.
Jada adds: “When my husband of almost 20 years can’t take his eyes off me? That’s amazing. But the number one reason I go to the gym is because it keeps me sane… I can deal with whatever’s coming at me.”
Jada doesn’t let her size get the best of her, explaining: “It’s an internal thing. I know that I’m petite but I never think like I am, ever…the truth is, there are times when I feel as big and tall as Will!”
