Contrary to Popular Belief The Kardashians
Look, you don't have to like the Kardashians. You don't have to watch their show, you don't have to read anything about them, you can even actively dislike them, that's fine. But when you start acting like this family is going to be the downfall of modern society, like they are the worst thing that has ever happened to us as a people, then maybe just check yourself, OK?
A good example of someone who needs to check herself is this woman who started a petition to remove the Kardashian Kids collection, the children's clothing line made by Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian, from Babies "R" Us stores. Because this:
“I don’t want my child to grow up to be a sex tape star. You pulled the Breaking Bad toys because they promoted drug use. You should pull this clothing line because it promotes bad behavior as well. The madness has to stop. If the toys are damaging so is the clothing.”
OK, or how about this: those "Breaking Bad" toys weren't damaging, and the clothing isn't, either. It's not like Kim Kardashian designed a little baby shirt that reads "Having A Leaked Private Sex Tape Makes All Your Dreams Come True," and it's not like parents are buying these clothes for their kids and then sitting them down and putting the show on for them. They're just cute, fashionable kid clothes. That's it.
How about we stop "protecting" children from clothes that are absolutely harmless and toys that aren't even meant for or marketed to them and instead worry about some real issues? Or would that be too crazy?
