What Silliness Money Can Buy
Oh how far we've not come in the design of the annual Victoria's Secret Fantasy lingerie ... because in the above picture, featuring the gorgeous Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima, 2 million dollars is at stake ... if you want to be decked and bedazzled in some of the most ridiculous, over the top "lingerie" that Vicrtoria's Secret has ever produced.
Granted, VS has never really related to the average, common women in their campaign to push their haute couture product, and while their models are undoubtedly gorgeous, and their stuff is high quality, these "Fantasy" products only get more and more ridiculous-looking as the years go by.
What's next -- a bra and panties set made of live insects who've had their shells painted neon colors? Come on. It sure is pretty, but where has all the tasteful and practical gone? ... Oh, that's right: it was left back in 1996 when the line first debuted with the classic Claudia Schiffer.
