Kate Gosselin Still Needs to Get a Grip
Still feeling all the sorry for Kate Gosselin? Back it up a second, because here's why you shouldn't be.
New "specials" of "Kate Plus 8" are airing beginning January 13th (brace yourselves), and in a sneak peek on TLC, here are the Top 3 Things That Kate Gosselin Said to Nullify Any Pity for Her:
3 -- After (and sometimes during) nearly every family event that she coordinated (catching and cooking lobsters, rowing) she acted like a petulant little child who was more apt to be her kids' snotty playmate rather than their mother, complaining about the events saying things like "Are we done yet?"
2 -- "I feel so overwhelmed sometimes that lately it's hard to stay positive."
1 -- This was Kate's vacation. Kate's idea. Kate's continual ploy to support her children by exploiting them on television, and yet she does nothing but complain and look exhausted all the time.
Yeah, we get it -- being the primary (sole?) caretaker of 8 children has got to be exhausting ... and it's got to be stressful and sometimes lonely and all of those other things, too, but you know what? It's also Kate's choice to continually put herself -- and her children -- in stressful filming situations, and what kind of childhood is that?
